Vancouver Day 3

A work day which started well and rapidy went pear-shaped. Computer all set up - a blessing after yesterday - only to find when the group arrived that my computer died and refused to do anything. Luckily - belt and braces!- I had my presentation on Dropbox and a memory stick but Sukhwinder had decided she didn't need her laptop. But as it's Canada there are always people ready to rescue you! After much huffing and puffing and help from 3 students we managed to get one of the laptops present to talk to the TV - good job we had scones and pumpkin tarts - and we finally got started - very late - Canadians seem very laid back about this! 

It went really well and as two of my friends had travelled from Portland we decided to head for a bar, when Sukhwinder managed to lock her car keys in the boot! Luckily there was a pub nearby so we downed a glass of wine while we waited for our rescuer. The day ended well with an exhausted teacher and host!
